ROC Our City is a website that features interviews with those whose personal and professional journeys represent the best of Rochester; bold, authentic, and driven. Our goal is to shed light on their stories so that we can better understand the beauty that surrounds us: the way we live, learn, and grow, together, within this city.

In sharing their lives with us, and you, ROC Our City is not just another love letter to Rochester, it is an homage those who make this city resilient, close-knit, and forward thinking. Inspired by all things Rochester, both past and present, we hope to inspire others the same way the people of this city continue to inspire us.

So honored to be featured for in the launch of ROC Our City! Go Rochester!

Featured as part of D&C "Celebrating Rochester's food scene"

This past summer, I had the opportunity to bake bread with 7 influencers in the Rochester Food Scene. This was orchestrated by Tracy Schuhmacher from the D&C. We shared our back story, our passion for the industry, and where we thought Rochester was heading.

In April 2016, I had the privilege of serving as the guest speaker at the RAF (Rochester Advertising Federation) 20 Minutes & a Beer event. The RAF is a local organization that advocates for exposing our community to new creative ideas and experiences that will inspire us. Each month the RAF hosts a monthly event at Good Luck restaurant, where the featured presenter will share about a topic they are passionate about, while guests enjoy a beer or cocktail while listening in. She wanted to set up a place where we could feature local creatives and their work, host giveaways & create a space to support, encourage and inspire one another. Go Sarah! Each week they feature a new lady boss, and I was featured this week!
